It is both comforting and distressing to know that It is both comforting and distressing to know that nothing is new... I'm enjoying reading this echo, this ripple, of history and seeing where nothing has changed even though everything has changed. But I do tire of everything being so readily available, and it still not clicking for folks who cower at the mention of books like this and its ever-present reminder that we have always been who we are. Go to the library. Pick up a book. Read it. Maybe then we get out of this mess lol
